Loaded french toast

I was watching ‘Chopped‘ this other time and one of the chef judges said she prefers to first soak the bread in eggs before frying and I tried it. This is my new way of making french toast from now on.

Heavyweight french toast
  • Crack eggs into a bowl
  • Add your spices and/or herbs
  • Whish the eggs and spices/herbs
  • Soak up your bread while heating oil in the frying pan
  • Fry until golden on wach side

Remember that this might require a lot of eggs so you can add a splash of milk. Spices and herbs are added to flavor.

TOPPINGS

  • Cubed bell peppers
  • Red cabbage
  • Cheese
  • Paprika and mayonnaise
