I was watching ‘Chopped‘ this other time and one of the chef judges said she prefers to first soak the bread in eggs before frying and I tried it. This is my new way of making french toast from now on.

- Crack eggs into a bowl
- Add your spices and/or herbs
- Whish the eggs and spices/herbs
- Soak up your bread while heating oil in the frying pan
- Fry until golden on wach side
Remember that this might require a lot of eggs so you can add a splash of milk. Spices and herbs are added to flavor.
TOPPINGS
- Cubed bell peppers
- Red cabbage
- Cheese
- Paprika and mayonnaise
